Judgement (2012)

Held my anger so long
I forgot you were who knew.
I try to be strong.
I always told you true.
I clung to my fear,
I shouldn’t fear you.
You were always near.
You were one of the few,
Who looked out for me.
Judgement I passed so blindly,
Expected perfection those held close.
I plead to be forgiven,
I expected much one treasured most.
I fell to other’s opinions.
You whose thoughts ate my own,
I saw you through their sins.
I should have used my eyes alone.
