The Shade Kikyo

Kikyo I can feel your sadness there
I am certian it will fade
How can you know my pain
When you are but a shade
Did I not die for you?
At the shot of your bow?
Yet you are not real
Not the true Kikyo
I tell myself I cannot find
The light in your eyes
No my light is not found
In the arms of a false priestess

Kagome

By Damien Knight

How I yearned for her
The fires burned
Her soul yet she longed
To see me once more
I a worthless man
Immortal bound
Held her in my dreams
As the one I adore
Long we slept
Lady Kikyo and I
She reborn twice
What do we wait for?
Her soul torn in two
Where do I go
How do I choose
Her life now lore
Reborn you were
To meet me
Here we are Kagome
Standing tomorrow’s shore

Priestess Kikyo (Dec 2012)

By Damien Knight

She who walks the heavens
Will she look on me
Smile with loving grace
At the man she sees
My Lady of light
Be my fortitude
Will you see me saved?
My Kikyo, ever shrewd
Priestess of heavens
Bless me darling
Save my wretched soul
So I might be your king
