By Damien Knight
The rain reminds me of my sorrow
How lonesome am I sweet lady
I ache, the time we borrow
Is the dreams of her and me
I hold my breath how do I live
Without her voice in my ear?
Smooth as silk, I beg forgive
I just want to see her, my dear.
She haunts me, like a spectre
Her eyes pierce my visions
I want to be there with her
Alas I must wake once again
