I can’t stop imagining her kiss
Staring at pictures longing for her lips
Her curves so exquisite I can’t forget
How I said I’d trace her with my fingertips
My pounding heart aches to hear my name
Her honey smooth voice can keep me sane
I feel the passion without shame
So I refuse to just walk away
Ever so eager my hands do shake
Steady them, I might shape her like clay
My words weren’t empty devotions
I want more than just to come out to play
No, I dream of her peridot eyes
Assured that passion can lead to love
My romantics weren’t false, my hope not lies
She feels real, confident, and a part of me
I want to make this a give and take
I’m not perfect, I make mistakes
But she’s there and I’m at her side
With her I take the world in stride
